Meet the team behind Jin Journey—bringing together technical AI expertise and deep knowledge in diversity and inclusion.

Joana is a software developer with hands-on experience working with AI tools and systems. Through building applications and working directly with technologies like ChatGPT and other AI models, she brings a practical, real-world perspective into every workshop. Her focus is on helping participants understand how to use AI effectively, improve their results through better prompting, and recognise the limitations and risks of these systems.

Joana complements this with her strong background in diversity and inclusion, working in the field since 2016. She has facilitated interactive workshops that explore topics such as bias, discrimination, and inclusive practices, helping participants reflect on how individuals, systems, and structures shape our everyday interactions.

Together, they combine technical understanding and societal awareness—a perspective that is increasingly important in the age of AI. Their workshops go beyond surface-level knowledge, equipping participants not only with practical skills, but also with the awareness needed to use technology in a fair, inclusive, and responsible way.
